BTW, since i had them on the phone they told me that it was 6 months to the day that I called them about increasing my originally Capital one card, which the did in Feb of this year, so they did increase that one again as well. Never say anything bad about Capital one, They have changed Venture Card is $16K, Quicksilver is 10KSmiley Very Happy

Re: Heads Up About HSBC Cardholders Wanting CLI From Cap 1 Website

They only gave me a $1000 increase throught the EO when I did it last month.  I do find it funny because I got a preselected offer in the mail from Citibank for the Home Depot Card and they gave me $4000.  Earlier this year when I applied for a regular Citi card they told me I had to send in income verification, and I just couldn't be bothered with that so I didn't do it.  I figured I had enough credit that it wasn't worth the effort.  So Citi, which is more conservative than CapOne gives me $4000 on a new account and CapOne gives me a $1000 increase on an established account with 2 years of history.  Go figure!

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.
