I have 3 credit cards all approved within this past month. I have one with Wellsfargo, one with Walmart, and a Paypal Extras Mastercard with a credit limit of $1000. My credit limit on the Wellsfargo card is $700, my starting limit on my walmart credit card was $150 but the same day I asked for a credit limit increase of $500 which got approved. However I wanted to ask for another credit limit increase of $1000 on the walmart credit card but I am not sure if I get it approved a second time in the same month, specially since I don't have a credit history with them yet. Should I wait a few months before asking for another increase? I appreciate any feedback. Walmart pulls transunion for credit decisions and while my credit report is clean, have a total of 8 inquiries this past year, 6 posted within this month.
My transunion Fico score is 674, My equifax Fico Score is 667 and My experian was 553 last time I checked. Currently this month my dept to credit limit utilization combining all my credit card limit is about 27%, and my income is about $22,000 a year.

+1. GE Credit Solutions number is in the sticky thread called "Backdoor Numbers"
At least you got to $500. My Wally is stuck at $300 and it's about to get stuck in my SD, once I do my app spree next week.

I'd love to know what the secret is... LOL
4th statement just cut... 0 balance, called up Credit Solutions and was denied a increase from 600 to 2000... no counter offer made. Utilization is around 20% on $20k worth of credit lines.
*baffled* LOL I guess I just need to wait till 2016 when the 13 and the inquiries drop off my report!

I had usage... but it hadn't posted. My statement has cut on the 28th or 29th for 3 previous months... I charged a $100 purchase on the 25th (thinking it would post before a statement on the 28th or 29th) but instead the statement cut on the 26th while I have a 0 balance and the purchase is still pending.
It says I have a payment of $0 due on 3/21 and my list of statements doesn't show a statement for Feb....
I guess it was my fault for waiting too long... apparently it generates a payment due but not an actual statement if your balance is 0 without a purchase posted?
It seems Walmart computers like to see 4 statements cut with a statement balance. The way around that is calling GECRB Credit solutions. I did the 4 statements and never called and started with a $700 store card so it works for some of us.

All good... looks like I waited too long because my 4th statement didn't have a balance. As said I called credit solutions and after putting me on hold to review my account and credit report I was told I was denied and would receive a letter.
The rep did say it was a soft pull so no harm done in my gardening. Maybe I'll try again next month with a posted balance... just a little annoying is all. My statement date was 2 days earlier this month and I waited too long to make a purchase.
Oh well... I guess my consolation prize is GECRB will report a 0 balance this month...
Lesson learned on this one... Walmart is slow to post transactions and if you have a 0 balance it will not generate a statement despite the fact you made purchases.
3 days later and the transaction is still pending... may try calling back for a CLI next month. Then again I might not...
Call credit solutions right now and ask for 1000.
