I would never just pay intrest to get higher cl, I almost never pay intrest I try to get most from cash back and large bonus. Why do you think ther is lot of companies that do business in sub prime area. Just look at car loans, thay make more money on loan then on car it self. Department stores make more money on creditcard side, appliance stores push same as cash because that wher money is. Just ask any sale person at appaliance store that thay get paid to get customers to take out ther credcard and buy over time.
It is not creditcard companies who ask how much your income is the gov made that rule, before 2008 you could get an store card with putting down your income. the gov wanted to protect the customer. back in the late 90's you could get a cl in 58k range just by asking for it. After the 2008 crash the gov came and cchange every thing.
Barclays can be very accommodating with credit lines if you have the assets and income to support it. This is especially true with their flexible spending cards (e.g. Arrival Plus World Elite). But they will do a hard pull (from TU generally).
For example, my limit with them is $50k but they've historically allowed me to charge well in excess of $100k.
Question, when you go over cl by 50k do thay chare you over limit fee and how fast must you pay down the card. I have an Uber card with flex spending with cl of 12k. I wonder how much I could go over the cl get away with it. If you ask to go over your cl is that when thay do hard pull. I do like the Uber card for the 4percent cash back for eating out.
does barclays let you go over your cl case by case is ther away to find out how much you can charge over cl in advance.

There is no fee; it's due on the due date on your statement.
I wonder how much I could go over the cl get away with it.
It would depend on your profile and history with them.

You don't "ask", you just use the card and they either approve the overlimit charge or not. If you call them, they'll probably tell you how much they'll approve over your limit.
That is nice I had no problems with Barclays so far since I got both cards with them. When you do charge over the limit does it take longer to for the charge to go through.

No, it works just like any other charge.
It's different for everyone, which card they have their highest limit on. Amex is known for being good with credit limits. My highest credit limit is on my Amex Blue Cash Preferred at $6000, which I got after a little over 2 months of having the card and this being a 3Xs CLI, on top of at the time reporting only 17K of income. 3Xs is the maximum you can increase your credit limit at one given time and even that's not for sure. After getting any CLI, the next one cannot come for at least 6 months, and the next one is even harder to get than the first one.
How much is your income? If it's pretty good, I'd recommend going for a CLI on your Amex. The Discover could be another option. Both issuers only do soft pull CLIs.
Hi what is your scores I amaze how much credit on low income, you have total cl over 100 percent. That is good to know about that Amex will give you one third credit limit to your income.
