Help reading my CSP UR statement

I admit I don't look at this often.  I was hoping my annual 7% was on there (and it was!).

Anyway, what is the +1 point per dollar earned on all purchases?  What exactly is that referring to?  I'm not complaining!  I'm about to attach an image.  Hopefully it won't be gigantic.  Thanks in advance!

Re: Help reading my CSP UR statement

CSP earns one point per $ on all purchases, and an additional point on dining and travel.

So this is your previous point balance, plus 1 point for all your purchases, plus the bonus points for dining, plus the bonus points for travel.

I guess I'm not getting the above.  Another point for "all" your purchases.  Where did the 2139 come from?  I'm missing something simple, aren't I? Smiley Happy

It means that you've charged $2,139 during the previous month.

Oh geez, I knew it was a dollar amount but was looking at it a completely different way!  Thank you guys so much!

Glad I have the forum here instead of calling and asking the CSRs an embarrassing question!

That really depends on how you redeem it. I've seen anything from 1.25-10 cents

Everyone uses it differently. I usually redeem for about 2.5-3.5 cent per point with United miles.

Sadly I've seen it go for just 1ccp.

A friend was all excited telling everyone at the dinner table about how she redeemed almost 1.5k worth of cashback from her CSP........ The setting however wasn't appropriate for me to explain to her about why that was a bad decision...

Don't understand.  Isn't it always appropriate in such situations to scream "You [expletive] [expletive] stupid idiot!  I am ashamed to be the same species as you"?

That's what I do.
