Help!!!!!!!!! will my husband's credit score increase? Help!!!!!!!!!

I need to know if I add my husband to my credit card account as a joint card holder, will his score increase.  I have a chase credit card with a balance of $200.00. I have had the card for about 13 months now and never been 30 days past due.  My available balance is 195.00.  I want to know around how much can my husband's credit score increase if I add him to the account. My biggest fear is that his score will drop, If I add him to the account.

Bad idea, the card is maxed-out (credit card accounts reporting 95% of their available credit limit being utilized is considered maxed-out)! He might benefit if the balance is less than 10% of the credit limit. If at all possible try and pay down the balance and have it report on your credit reports then have him apply for joint status.

I think the original poster is saying that the available balance is $195 so she only owes $5 on the card.

Is that right, Harris?

yes that is correct sorry.  Do you think it will help my husbands credit score.  he doesnt have any credit cards on his credit report.

Usually around here balance means what is owed. If the OP is saying the CC has a CL of $200 and a balanced owed of $5 then yes it should help.
