Help with Citi Mid-cycle balance update ???

Hello Everyone, 

So long story short I have a citi card 24k limit and I had a balance 23,098. My stateement was supposed to cut yesterday so like i do normally I pay before the statment cut so it has a 0 balance. I was stuck at work on a call and made the payment at 5:03 so they payment didnt process yet.  Its a 0 balance now, but the statementt cut at 23,098. 

I wanted to know if anyone has tried this or knows any trick to help with this. 

With BOA I know a trick to do a mid cycle update. All you do is go to your contact informartion address and phone number and update it with the same address and number and then within 2-3 days they update your report with the current balance. 

has anyone every tried this with citibank ??

CAll them. you have to really fight for it, but say you had a friend who they did it for and you're trying to get a mortgage and cant wait a month for it to report. then request a supervisor. they'll tell you no, but they'll update it. that happened for me
