the ED card is the only one that i know of. It can also transfer to airline and hotel partners which is very nice. There are no other non af cards in exsitence that can do that
Thanks Mong. That sounds like the one to go after then.

The thing is i am not sure if you can PC from Blue sky to ED cards tho. Blue sky has its own point system correct, as in non MR?
Yes, Blue Sky does but I will just statement credit my remaining points and then give it a whirl. If they won't, then I'll have to think of something else.
Personally I think PC is way less important for AMEX as you don't lose the history (some will actually show up as older cards! Think Jan app.) when you open a new card. HP is only downside to getting another amex and closing your current card but the addition to your AAoA out weighs that IMO.
Good luck! (P.S PC won't give you any sign up bonus either!)

My Amex cards are already back-dated to 1984.
Main reason for eventually closing out PRG is avoiding that $175 AF in May in that future plans don't call for using it enough to off-set the AF. As for sign-up bonuses, I just hauled in 40,000 on CapOne Venture, 30,000 on United Mileage Explorer and 50,000 on Marriott in the last week. I wasn't getting any offers from our friends at Amex. Who knows, when I do my travel card re-set for 2016, they might have something for me then.

TheGardner was just saying that you may as well as PC, especially with a 1984 backdate. The Everyday comes with a pretty uninspiring sign up (10K MR + 1 year of amazon prime, after $1K spend) but better than nothing.

Another thing to note is make sure you apply for ED first before closing PRG since you would probably lose the MR points in your account if you close PRG first.
