Higher than 3x on first CLI possible?

Any idea if Amex wants a minimum spend on the card before granting the 3x CLI and subsequent 2x CLI? I don't plan on using my delta card much as I value the MR more so spending via PRG for now.

You can request 3x each time you are eligible. Just request 3x, nothing more nothing less. Let them counter you.

There's no minimum spend requirement, but the more you spend and pay, the higher your odds of getting approved.
