I'm a rewards-focused credit enthusiast. I like having decent CLs on everyday cards ($10k on EDP and $8.5k on Hyatt), but for me, getting high CLs isn't really a game in itself.
So, for some fun variation from the usual "high CL" threads...what's the highest CL you have on a card that barely gets any spending (or BTs)?
For me, it's a $6k CL on BCE. I only use it for offers, since EDP has better rewards. It would be rare for my balance to exceed $300 on BCE, and I can go months without using it if no good offers appear.
Does anyone have a $50k CL on an unused V/MC that pays 1% cash with no bonus categories or perks? Or a $30k CL on a store card you used for a $50 purchase two years ago?
Delta amex 20k. barely use. but it will get some heavy usage in a few months. When i travel
I only use my two Visa cards when Discover isn't accepted... which is usually just for haircuts every 3-4 weeks. Each has a credit line of $7k.
Then there's Lowe's... my credit line is $7450. It's my oldest account (11 years) but in the last two-three years I've made one purchase for $60, which I PIF as soon as I got the bill. I'm actually waiting for them to CLD that one at some point (which I hope they don't, but it's not the end of the world if they do).
not sure if counts for barely used, BCP $15,000 rarely has more than a $1k balance
for non-used cards,
Lowes 10k Limit $0 balance
Wamart store card 10k limit $0
For the next year my 13k Quicksilver will only be seeing my gym membership, which can't be paid with Discover, and anything from a place where Discover is not accepted, so I can take full advantage of my year of double cash. Besides that my 1500 Barclay Rewards has been seeing less than $100 a month for over a year.
4.9k on my Old Navy card, regret opening the account, plan to close asap.
40K on Diners Club....only use it to pay for Vehicle registration every year.....
