Well, I don't know about that. They recently approved my DH for a More card with a $1000 CL, and his EQ score (which they provided) was 631. He didn't qualify for their best terms -- 3.9% for 6 months as opposed to 0% -- but at least he's in.

just applied for a discover card today to take advantage of the 0% balance transfer rate.  The automated system said i could receive a response in up to 30 days.  I called one of the back door numbers and was approved within 5 minutes!!  i've never had anything like that happen before!! thought it was pretty awesome!
