Yippie! I just applied online and got this message:
APPLICATION SUBMITTED
Thank you! Your online application has been submitted successfully.
No approval, no denial, no 7-10 day letter ... nothing.
So I took it upon myself to dial the backdoor number 801-545-6705 to ask questions
.
I was told that I was instantly approved for $1,000 credit line *YIPPIE*. I asked the rep to bump the credit line to $1,500 and she said that they will review my account every month, but they can't make any changes to my credit line today! Knowing me, I'll try back later or in a few days *crossing fingers for a 'nicer' rep*
!!!

Because of you guys and all your help on understanding credit, managing credit and reducing debt, we were able to get approved for a $3000 limit on Hooters mastercard. Wife got this one with.. get this...555 TU ... Eq is 590 however Hooters pulls TU Got the 7 - 10 days message and card arrived week later
Just be careful and pay it off every month so you don't lose money to interest charges. What is the interest rate on the card and is there an annual fee?

Well, the highest unsecured Mastercard/Visa anyway!
Hehehe... I love it - you're a creditjunkie! ![]()
Anyway, keep this in mind - What's credit really for? So you can get financing for something you can't, or don't want to, pay cash for at the moment. I've noticed from your sig that you have several accounts - I'm assuming some of them relatively recent. Too many young accounts will not help your score in the long (I mean short
) run. Just be careful, so that when you do come across somewhere that you really NEED credit for, you will have a decent enough score so that you can get approved... Myself, I am in the credit building stage and have a few recent accounts, and I intend on managing my accounts & increasing my score for the next year or two so that I'm in a position to get new credit when I need. Just something to think about - stick to the basics... Take care.
