Sure thing. I think things will be much easier once I'm able to get that backdated BCE in January that will really help with my AAoA. Despite some of those denials of mine, I have gotten plenty of the cards I've always wanted to have and I couldn't be happier about that. I'm basically avoiding any EX pulls until January at least.

I am waiting/gardening to go for the lower AF one as the lounge benefit is what I will mainly use

I was taking an look see at the dc premeir, but i don't really see benefit over say spg. Educate me where i am missing what is so great about DC cards :-)

I've been trying to figure out whats so great about the DC cards also. I glanced at their site and couldn't justify the AF. Can someone give me a breakdown please? I almost feel myfico-peer-pressured into applying for it.

Mongs.... The whole Diners hysteria I think was about the big limits they were handing out... Like, duck-beaver-NASA. Most of everyone was applying for the premier $95af. Since I don't have Amex, and not qualified to have one for several yrs due to my bk, I'm not qualified to compare the two for you... Premier vs SPG....

lounge access at affordable AF, no FTF, on a useful network (not like Amex or Diners int'l) ...these are the main benefits and well worth to pay the AF for me  4 - 5 x lounge access at home airport per month and many other destinations make this card valuable to me. Star Gold lounge is not as nice as Diners lounge ..lol

I've asked myself the question if the relatively loose U/W right now is just to garner the MAX amount of AF paying cardmembers Q1 of re-opening new apps.

I'm holding back on this one as I have enough AF cards already.

You're hoping in 5 years. I'm hoping 3 months after I can apply. They are the worlds  first credit card after all. But when myfico members get done with. May be nothing left. As far as resources.
