No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I use the card either the day I receive it, or within a few days of receiving it. I do a chip transaction and a swipe transaction to make sure the card is fully functional. Then I set up the online access and make a small payment as soon as a balance posts to test the payment info I entered. I have no worries of AA because the card issuer already based their decision on what they saw and gave me a limit to match that data.
If you are doing app sprees and are worried that the creditors will catch on and do AA....well....you might want to re-think your approach to credit.
If you're getting your first AMEX card, it's a good idea to set up online access and your payment account on the day you're approved. There are payment restrictions during the 30 days after a new payment account is added. Getting it set up right away will cause the restrictions to be lifted well before the first due date.

This doesn't matter unless you're trying to pay multiple times a month as I understand it, and to that I'd ask: why? ![]()
