How do you all use multiple CCs?

8 cards total

1.) Amex Rewards Plus Gold Card (PIF monthly): used for everything, I use this card more than all of my others combined.

2.) Amex Blue: use ocassionally, 1-2 times a month for gas, food or booze

3.) Macy's: use 3-4 times a year and shop online and always PIF before the statement cuts

4.) FIA Visa: use 1-2 times a mont when a merchant doesn't accept Amex

5.) First Hawaiian Bank Visa: use maybe once a month when a merchant doesn't accept Amex

6.) CITI Dividends: stopped using, hate the card and this CCC, $0 balance

7.) Chase Visa: stopped using this card, hate this card and CCC even more than CITI, still paying down the balance

8.) Discover Motiva: haven't used it yet, will try to max out cash back rewards with their partners and might use their fixed BT rate of 3.99% thru 01/2010 after the holidays end

Couldn't help it. Quite a number of folks took off from work today because of it. Others took the day off to be with their kids because schools were closed.

Back to the OP, the cards that I tend to use regularly.

1) Amex where possible
2) Chase BP Visa for BP gas, dining and anywhere Amex isn't taken
3) Whichever MasterCard I'm not mad at I'll use at Sam's Club

Store cards, I just got into (Macys and GapCard)

Ok well lets see I have :

1 Cap 1--1000 limit---most used longest I have had however just did a BT since no cost and limit increased by 500 dollars--

1 HSBC 400 CL however this card is under review with company b/c no increase in almost 3 years--SUCKS---PIF (will not use unless I get an increase)

1 WAMU VISA ---2000 limit (used for purchases --food /BTs/shopping

1 JUNIPER  MC-1750 limit (household purchases since no card from Lowes or Home Depot)

1 WAMU MC-2000 limit (havent rcvd card yet)

1 WALMART credit card--600 limit (havent used yet)

ok so I have 5 bank cards and 1 store card ( I guess thats a good mix) managing them all pretty well thus far--I am like some of the others--I do not use them pass certain limits like most--I have emails that come to tell me when a card reach a certain limit so therefore its off limits until paid down

I may be getting a JCP card and Shell gas card--both pre approved however havent sent the forms back yet I have till the end of the year--so we shall see--I may get the gas card to manage my gas purchases though ---thats more important to me than JCP anyday

I was Pennsylvania born & reared. We were always absent from school/work on the first day/week of buck season.

The first day of the annual Farm Show was also an allowed excuse from school.  

Ducky- call out to your flock, call them home to ya. Here at the marina where I live the ducks are (dare I say?) a nuisance. If they don't stop quacking I'm gonna have roast duck for my xmas dinner.

6 stores cards opened cuz they were the first and only ones who would give me credit

5 bank cards which 2 will be closed next year as one has an AF and other will not show me luv for CLI and horrible apr.

PS- only used three reg rest are used 2x a year for history.
