I have seen multiple posts which mention the Chase Freedom or Freedom Unlimited complimenting the Sapphire. How do either of these cards compliment the Sapphire products? What should a person do to get the most bang for the buck on these products.
I have the FU and the CSP, so want to be sure I am not missing out on something I should be taking advantage of.

Use your CSP only for the 2x categories and use your FU for everything else. Then you can move your FU URs to CSP’s balance of URs. If you add the Freedom, use it for the 5x categories and also move them.
If you had CSR, FU and F and used the URs to book travel in the portal for 1.5 cents per point it works out like this:
Freedom categories 7.5% back.
Travel and restaurants 4.5% back.
Everything else 2.25% back.
modify those for the 1.25 on CSP, or for the travel partner of your choice which can net a lot more.
It says, “I really like your hair today!”
I think you meant “complement.”
Search “Chase Trifecta” for more information about your question.

I just really hope this works continueing in the future, worked very hard getting CSR, Freedom, Freedom Unlimited together, if they remove ability to transfer Freedom Unlim or Freedom points, makes CSR a lot less valuable.

Unless you transfer the points to travel partners, IMO CFU doesn't do a whole lot with the CSP (vs CSR). CFU earns 1.5UR, which becomes 1.875% when redeemed for travel via the Chase Portal. So you would do better with a flat 2% card, which earns more and is not restricted to travel.
If you transfer at a reasonable redemption rate, then it makes sense.
Sometimes I think it is just a better life to just use a flat 2% cash back, no AF card and not have to worry about points and point transfers. Unless you travel a lot, we are only talking about a few hundred dollars saved each year.
It does not have to be for a LOT of travel. But the question is what you redeem it for. If you have absolutely no interest in international travel potentially in business class, it may not be worth it.
Even if I only make one trip a year... if that trip happens to be from the US to Austrailia in first class that I can book for pennies on the dollar.... that could potentially save me thousands of dollars.

Maybe I am not understanding the benifits, but how does CSR help you get first/business class for cheaper?

Because the rewards earned for spending on the CSR get you UR points which can be used for travel, in this example, to a number of airlines for international trips. And redemptions on intl flights are probably the best way to use points since those business/first class tickets can go for thousands of dollars if you pay cash.
