How long do soft inquiries last?

I think that you can view them until they get edged off your reports by other stuff going on. There's only so much space allocated for the data on your report, and when enough new stuff comes in, something else has to fall off.

Ohh so its not a time frame thing? I thought I heared somewhere on here that too many softs might create a split file...............

All inquiries stay on for the same length of time. Without interferance, softs will stay two years just like hards. However, they are the first to go to make room for other things in most cases.

EX keeps all of them for 2 years

EQ- Only keeps Promotional INQ's on for 1 year.
