I got my new PayPal 2% CB Mastercard yesterday, but I had to contact Synchrony via online chat to get the card activated because, for some reason, there wasn't a link to do it on my account page. The odd thing is that I got an email from them earlier yesterday giving me instructions as to how to activate the card online!
I don't remember when the "credit limit increase" button/link is supposed to appear on a Synchrony card's account page. It'll be at least 3 months before I'm ready to attempt my first CLI on this card, but I'm a little perplexed because I think that piece of information was always there from the beginning when I opened my other Sync cards. Or am I mistaken?

IIRC, the CLI link doesn't display right away on some CCs. Back in the day, when I got mine, it took about 3 or 4 months for it to display. Unless things have changed in the last year or so since they upgraded their online portals.
Well, that's no problem then since I'm not planning to try for a CLI until at least after the third statement cuts (so mid-October at earliest). It was more irritating that there was no activation link online even though the email I got said there was.
For me, after the first statement

I was actually wondering this myself on my Lowes Store Card. First statement just cut and nothing so far. I want that $25K limit
@Like @FinStar said, give it another couple of months/statements and it should appear by then. I believe you should generally give it 90 days or so to properly start your card's use and payment history before you begin to apply for CLI's, anyway.
