How long is it before Amex starts sending you offers for other cards?

I've seen folks get them close to or after their 1 year anniversary.  Sometimes, I get really good offers now though but to cards I already have.  Go figure...

I think it depends on the product line. I have offers to apply for the platinum on my everyday preferred, but not my PRG(PRG was also an pre-approved offer). I think from Green to Gold to Platinum they are legally required to wait one year before offering since that is in the same family.

I got an offer for the Platinum Card about 8 months in on my BCE, but opted for the PRG instead. No like the high $550 AF.

It showed that I was pre-approved when I clicked on apply button.

Yes, and when I did my pre-approval offers there was no hard pull which is nice.

I started getting prg offers at about 6 months. Couple weeks ago (roughly 8 months in) I got a snail mail plat offer and around the same time a 3k auto CLI on my BCE.
