Hi all. I apped for the Discover It Thursday the 1st and received an email about my card being on the way the morning of Sunday the 4th "You should have your card in 3-5 days".
It has still not arrived, and even if it was mailed the Monday after the email went out, it has already been 5 days. In everyone else's experience, is Discover's 3-5 day estimate pretty accurate? I was expecting it to arrive yesterday or today. I wouldn't be concerned if they had told me a more typical 7-10 days, but since they said 3 to 5 and it hasn't come I am wondering if others had the same experience? Thanks.
Mine took about week. I was approved on a sunday, and recieved it the following saturday.
It comes in a gigantic box--box within a box. First you'll think it's metal, but it's fully plastic. Call them and they'll probably report the card missing and send you a new card with a new account number.

Good advice. I'll probably call on Tuesday if I don't receive it Monday. I notice they ship from Utah and I am in the very northeast, so maybe it just needed some extra time.
With a box that huge I wonder if it has a tracking number. It's delivered by USPS. Probably not.
It seems like I got mine in 3 days. It took me longer to get a replacement card (a week) when I had a fraud issue. However, my first card wasn't chipped. The chipped cards might just take a bit longer.
You probably won't get on Monday as it's a holiday. I think mines took over a week to come.
Yeah you definitely won't recieve it today because of the holiday but hopefully tomorrow.
I must've been a lucky one. They sent mine Priority Mail 2nd Day lol
Being excited is certainly understandable but delivery times can and do vary -- especially considering Sundays and holidays. No need to worry until you're over a week or so.
