How long to wait for CLI Request w/ AMEX

I've been hearing some people say that as soon as you get card you can request the 3x CLI.

But I've also been told that you need wait 61 one days.

Anyone request for a CLI right after receiving card and actually got it?  Their website says you have to wait 60 days and so have their CSR but we all know CSR are wrong all the time.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sick of people answering this nicely in full detail everytime someone posts it(DAILY!).

Use the search function and the sort function and get the most up to date threads and responses.

Re: How long to wait for CLI Request w/ AMEX

Since the 3x 61day CLI rule no longer applies U can conceivably request whenever U feel comfortable doing so. Just bear in mind there still is no guarantee U will be approved for it. Some hav received it after activation while others hav not. Some hav requested @ 7 days, 30 days or 45 days or anywhere in between. Since there is no longer a steadfast rule (except for the one after your last CLI has been granted) if U feel the time is right to request sooner rather than later then.... let your conscience be your guide. Best of luck when U do decide to go for it.

http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Amex-3x-CLI/td-p/4191863 and here's a thread that was literally on the first page had you tired your paw & scrolled down.

You'll find the same repetitive detail all the others threads regarding this go into.
