How many months before Nordstrom Store Card Graduates into Visa?

I am curious, how long it would take for Nordstrom to convert their store card to Visa card? I have a Nordie store card with $2k CL. It would be great if I can get that converted to Nordie Visa....

Hey, concord, how long ago did you get the Nordie's store card?  Do they still have a reputation for denying those with a recent inquiries?

I got my card about 2 months ago. They pulled EQ my scores were around 660 or so. I had only 2 Inq's on EQ. But I had about 67 lates as 90+ Days reporting. I am trying to dispute them and get them out as paid student loan is reporting wrong.

Thanks. Do you think I should make some purchases and payments on the store card before I ask them to upgrade? I have not used the card at all since I got the card. I also want to make sure they dont do a hard inq on me when they convert the card to visa.

yes I think you would have to use it. I don't think it will cost you a hard

It is so expensive to buy there. Probaly I can get couple of underware with the CL they gave me...

Nordstrom is like a Macy's, they carry some high end stuff especially in shoes and jewelry but clothes, they are pretty basic.

I have had a regular Nordstrom card for 20 years with a $3500 CL.  I never thought to get it transferred to a Visa.  Would this look better on a CR?

Macy's is nothing compared to Nordstrom.  The brands are much better at Norsdtrom than they are at Macy's.
