Actually, he should have been able to do it from the online account. I requested $30k through the Lowe's credit card site. It went through instantly.

Sometimes the online request has a preset limit.  When he has a $25K line already and will be pushing the limit and looking for a counter if needed then calling in is preferred unless you're willing to settle for being shot down online.

I gotcha, didn't realize he was already at $25k. If that's the case, then calling in is the only option.

I called the "credit analyist" number from the back door thread. I really didnt need the credit so im not really torn up about it. But I just like growing limits.
