How often will Amex reduce APR?

Last time I called they said to call back in a couple months and they might be able to reduce it further. Does anyone know if there is a rule for how much time need be between APR reductions? Thanks!

If they told you to call back in a couple months, and if it's been a couple months, then I would call back.

It's a pretty standard rule for credit card companies to not allow APR reduction during promotional times. However, the day after a promotion ends and every sequental 6 months, AMEX will take a look at lowering your APR. That's what they told me anyways.
