Hey yall! 2nd day on the forum but currently loving it! Ya'll convinced me to apply for the chase freedom and capital one quicksilver. My question is, should I apply for these via online, and how quickly would I know if I got accpeted for the card?
Thanks Yall!
Welcome!! Yes, online, and you could know in a few seconds if instantly approved. If you get a decline or a 7-10 day message, look up the backdoor numbers to the bank in question located in the sticky thread, and give them a call.

Definitely apply online! I applied for the Chase Freedom online almost two years ago (to the date!), and it was instantly approved! I had to call the automated system for the CLI, and boy was I blown away! (instantly approved for the line you see below, back when I had much smaller credit lines!)
And like another poster mentioned, if you don't get the words "instantly approved" online, feel free to call the status number and/or the backdoor number to expedite the results!
Good luck
