How to get the most out of my cards

I have an nRewards card through Navy Federal that I run all my purchases through. However, I just got a few new cards and need help figuring out how to get the most out of them (rewards points or cash back).

Here is what I have:
Navy Federal nRewards - $2000 limit
Amex EveryDay - $500 limit
Bank of America Cash Rewards - $1000 limit
Capital One Quicksilver - $600 limit

I run about $4000 worth of purchases through each month and always PIF multiple times throughout the month. Thank you for the help!

You'll need to give us the features of each card's category/CB structure in order for us to help you. And most likely, once you make your list, it will probably become obvious to you what/when/where to use each card. Smiley Wink

I guess part of me making this post was just being lazy and not wanting to look it all up haha. I figured you all know these cards best. But alas, I shall search for myself!

Re: How to get the most out of my cards

One thing that may be helpful is to figure out what rewards you want from your cards. Points or cash back? You’re kind of split now with the the BOA and CapOne QS earning cash back and the ED earning MR points.

Both rewards systems can certainly coexist and be useful to someone, but when your spend is relatively low the rewards can quickly become diluted.

I guess if I was in your situation, I’d focus my spend on cash back cards. JMHO though.
