How to request a CLI through Chase

I was thinking of a CL increase through Chase. I logged into my account and don't see a button. Where can I find this? I have a Marriott Rewards @ 5,000 limit but a Freedom @ 500. Any advice?

@marquavis,

You have card with a different animal- Chase. You don't have the button because they don't want you/any of us to request it. They decide when to give you a CLI. But you can always call to ask.

It isnt necessary to call unless you prefer speaking to someone over the phone. Send a secure message CLI request and they will respond. For me its always been within two hours but not sure if thats the norm in general for response time. Call or secure message it will likely be a hard pull either way with Chase.

I may just be remembering wrong, but I thought I have heard of some people saying if you send a secure message, you can occasionally get a CLI without a HP, and they will advise you either way. Or I could be thinking of a different lender

No you're correct. You can always ask them to check and see if any SP increases are available on your account first

Should have mentioned that sorry. Even if you dont ask they will advise you if pulling your report is necessary and get consent before doing so

this is good to know! Looking to CLI my CSP and from what I've been told and read, all CLI requests originating from the customer would be an HP.

My DW asked for a CLI by SM and they told her that they need to pull her credit, and if she was ok with that provide some information (income, ...), she answered that she only was interested in SP CLI, they said they can't for the moment that they need to pull her credit. I think the next statement (5th) cut after few weeks, and then she looked online and saw the $500 limit converted to $1000.

She will try again after 1 year with the card.

i just got a few days ago an auto CLI but you would have to give them a call. i believe they are HP friendly

i was given 2k and this month is was increased to 4k automatically

I called Chase to do a change (to signature Visa from regular) and requested a CLI while I was at it. I specified that I didn't want a HP, and the CSR assured me she would ask before initiating anything that required a pull. She indicated that my card had a notice that I could increase my CL and asked if $10K increase would be acceptable, as that was the most she could do without a HP. I gladly accepted.
