I applied and i got a message that said a representative will be contacting me soon! Any receive this type of message or similar? Cross your fingers me please!

I don't have them but they are at the top of my list when scores improve.

There were a couple of different threads about this back in August. It seems like everyone got that message and it took up to a month for some people to know whether they were approved or not. They probably want to talk on the phone soon to verify info, etc.

they hand review every app. it will take them awhile to get with you, but they are super nice. i don't have credit products w/them though (yet).

they offered me good rates on a car refi, but wanted 10 or 20 % down and cash enough to buy out the neg equity. i went w/justice instead. similiar rate no money down and they let me use my jloc to but out the neg equity.

Even though I don't have a CCCU card, I've heard nothing but wonderful things about them.

I believe Cathy is the lady who reviews the cc requests. At least she used to be, and she's super nice.

If I were going for(and I still might) a cc with a CU, they'd be at the top of my list of 4 or 5 CU's.

that's the standard answer. someone will contact you. it takes 3 to 4 weeks for the whole transaction including receiving the card. They are super nice and friendly. I got mine in Dec. and talked with Tammy. They even welcome you to the family. Paid a one-time fee of 5.00.

They did hard inquiry with EX and soft with EQ.

does the CCCU card report to all three CRA's? cause i know most of my local CU's only report to Equifax....

Yes CCCU reports to all 3

and if the are pulling PLUS scores now- it's new to me they pulled my FICO in July 07

All of my Creditors including my local CU report to all 3.

Hmmm....CCCU has never reported to TU for me.

OP- Took a week for them to contact me back in July when they were swamped with apps

Does anyone have a backdoor number for CCCU? This waiting game is not fun! I need to know whether i got approved or not!
