I've done pretty well with the cash back so far because I've been using Shop Discover and the 5% bonus categories. I was hoping to get cli's every three months for the first year as I have heard that Discover does this with new card holders but after looking into it more through posts on this board it seems that if your card is eligible for this it will be stated in your welcome package. Unfortunately, there was nothing mentioned in mine and now I'm afraid that I'll be stuck at 1k for a long time. I am pleased that when I called about the cld they raised it back to the 1k though. I really wasn't expecting that. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for a cli in a couple months!
Discover is sub-prime, any bank that counter offers you a HSBC discover card that alone speaks for itself. Credit Union's are the best, NFCU 25,000 limit. USAA 25,000 limit. Discover offered me 2000.00 lmao I turned it down.
