I can't seem to combine Capital One accounts?

ok so a good data point would be this. Has anyone combined them having an AU on the account>?

Nope, identical to my experience. Not sure why the balance has any effect but I can probably guess its easier on them.

The AU cards are closed out on the account you will be losing in the merge. I don't know if they transfer tot he new card but I imagine you have that option.

Are you sure the account from October is over 6 months old? Just a thought but if you applied near the end of October and it took a week or so to come in and then a week or so to activate it may just be the card hasn't quite hit 6 months. If that's a possibility it will prob work any day now
