This was one of my "regret it" cards from my fall of 2008 app spree. It had a $500 limit that wasn't ever going to grow (I got it before I finished repairing, so... my fault). It was a major dud. I'd have been content to let it just sit there in the SD, with a monthly charge of $9 for my credit monitoring service, but it mysteriously stopped reporting to two credit bureaus (EQ & TU) in January. I tried to get it reporting again with no success. Then, mysteriously (no prompting, disputing, or in any way mentioning on my part) TU suddenly deleted every INQ reporting for the last 2 years. Including, the new ones from the fall of '08. My rehabbed student loan that was gone from my credit reports started re-reporting along with the new clean student loan tradeline. I disputed the old one (past CRTP), and both tradelines disappeared. Ugh! It would appear that TU has had some system problems-- some that worked out in my favor, and some that did not.
So, I figured that this would be a good opportunity to get rid of my "regret it" card. I don't need it. I don't want it. And now, it's only going to show on Experian, which is frozen until you-know-where freezes over, or they let me purchase my FICO score again, LOL!

ETA: This will have absolutely no impact on my UTI. I've still got a 32k + in total credit lines, and only a $30 balance on one card.
