To those who have Citi Driver's Edge ...
Have you received a letter from Citi yet? I got one and very ... very ... Disappointed !!
The are going to PC Driver's Edge to Citi Thank You Card. I really like the design of this card. Now, I am going to have another card in blue ... too many blue ...
It says:
We are writing to inform you that you will receive the new Citi ThankYou Card as a replacement for your Citi Driver's Edge Options Card, which will no longer be offered as of March 3, 2011. The Citi ThankYou Card offers you brand-new type of rewards program.
You will earn 1 ThankYou Point for every dollar you spend on purchases, which you can redeem for rewards such as gift cards, merchandise, travel rewards and cash. There will be no limit to the points you can earn, and your points will not expire as long as you make a purchase once very 12 months.
You don't have to do a thing to get your new Citi ThankYou Card. Your new card will arrive automatically by May 31, 2011, replacing your existing card. Any outstanding balances will be transferred to your Citi ThankYou Card account.
The positive about this card's reward program is that they will give you Annual Bonus pts on your total annual purchase addition to 1%/purchase. And, it may takes 1-3 billing statements to post.
Membership Year Anniversary Bonus %
0 - 1 1%
1 - 2 2%
2 and after 3%
Haha, no worries...
They already PC my Diamond Preferred Rewards to this new "Thank You" card.
I'm whatever about Citi now.
I received the same letter this week. I actually am fine with it, considering i won't have to call and have my Drivers Edge points converted over to TY points anymore. It's much more convenient for me now. They actually did me a favor by converting it on their own.
