I'm so exited

I have been working on my credit for the past two years. Paying off charge-offs and getting baddies removed. My capital one account is the only one that still reporting negatively. I signed up with NavyFCU and recently got a credit card offer. I waited like 3 weeks to apply. I finally did today and was approved for $5000 limit at 13% rate. I think it was $5000 I was too excited.

Big congrats on the NFCU score. They truly are one of the best CUs out there to deal with. Heck, they are the best. Smiley Happy

Re: I'm so exited

No idea what bureau but its around 650. I had previous credit lines totalling 1200 or so with 10% utilization and a perfect payment history for 2 years.

WTG! I hope to join you someday! I have a bit of work to do myself. Just found out my brother is a member (retired navy)

For Credit Card Apps, NFCU pulls EQ like most credit unions. For LOCs, they pull one of the other two....usually TU, I believe.

I would go ahead and join anyway, but just open up a checking account and share savings now. You'll already be in with them, for when you decide to app for credit. They tend to like some history, though it's not necessary. It'll only help you, though. Smiley Happy
