Dear Capital One -
I love you. I truly love you. I wish you loved me in return. I have waited patiently for you to show me some love, but you continue to ignore me and push me aside. I try to talk to you and convince you to say "I love you" but you just respond with "not at this time".
I will continue to stalk you until you love me (or at least until I don't need your rejection anymore).
Sincerely,
Me - the person you've stuck at the same limit for 15 months <3
I'd send it except take out the part that says "stalk". I'd say something sweet like "I'll continue to send you friendly reminders..."
Maybe I should send a box of chocolates with it? Everyone likes chocolate...and I feel like it could only help my case
Maybe but nothing expensive, they will then just be getting more from you and giving nothing in return (possibly) lawl
It's kind of funny. But... 15 months? That's all? I thought you were going to say 6 years or something. I've been treated a lot worse by a lot of cards.
Unfortunately, they'll probably just put your letter into the "nutty customer" trashcan. (real or cyber trash can.)
But... it can never hurt to try. Go ahead and send it! I think I would. I wish I had thought of that, actually!
I should try that with Old Navy VISA, but I know they are totally humorless drones there.

haha me too! I've had the same CL with them for 5 years! Going to just SD them.
I definitely won't let 5-6 years of this crap go on...IMO 15 months is plenty time to show them that I use their card regularly, pay on time, never over spend, etc.
The AF is only $19 so I guess I'm better off than some, but I hate not seeing an increase. I need to see RESULTS lol My credit score has gone up 50-60 points from when I opened the card which IMO is great!
I think the only thing stopping me from sending a letter like this to them is the fact that they'll probably interpret it as "please hard pull me so I can be told my account is not available for a customer initiated CLI at this time".
I am thankful they gave me my first card and with out an AF... But I only charge exactly $6.66 every month and PIF. I've had the card for 3 years and over half at $1,500.

Good luck with that....lol.....
It's cute, but won't get you any results. If a real person actually read it, they would probably just think it's a joke and toss it.
