Interesting, does this now mean that eligility to apply for the card is now limited to certain states but not others? I received my official e-mail approval notification e-mail from FNBO on 4/7/2015, after a prior online auto-approval on 4/4/2015, which would seem to indicate that states they are now disallowing new apps for could still be applied to for successfully as recently as 7-10 days ago?

I believe so. I messaged FNBO on Facebook to ask when they were opening up applications again, and was told that they're limiting it to states that they offer products to only.
Simmons Bank Visa Platinum offers an ongoing rate of 7.25%

Looks that way, one would now have to live in their service area in order to apply for the card. I have 2 accounts with FNBO and I could have apped for the card on Sunday the last time I checked but not today its closed to my state.
I guess their slogan with the card "a card like this cant last forever" was true, lol. Anyway, moving on from FNBO because they don't like us outsiders...
Vivacious10, the Simmons Bank card does not look bad, with the $0 BT fee it could work! Do you have them?

I'm trying to move on, but 6.25 AND 1.5% CB is hard to give up on!

I know!!!!!! But here is what I am thinking. If I add a new, low interest card, it will still be back burnered. I will still use my NFCU CashRewards card for my everyday spending because I pay it in full and I enjoy the 1.5% return on everything. It also could not be easier to redeem my rewards. I just snatched $85 and as soon I hit redeem the money showed in my checking account! Anyways, so even with a no reward card, if I need to carry a balance for a few months, I can just BT from my rewards card to the low interest no rewards card fo free.99! Best of both worlds. I hope to not have to do that as I PIF steadily now, but you never know what life will present you.
l still like UFCU's 5.9% Great Rate card. Did anyone pull the trigger?
You know what?
I'd gamble an EX HP on this if and only IF it were 2% CB and 6.25%

That's kinda my thinking with this card. I'd want a low APR card just in case. I don't care about the rewards as I have a card that earns more and has better acceptance already. But just like how a lot of people have the Barclay Ring card JIC, that's why I'd like this one in my wallet.
