I was denied a PC to it from my platinum rebuilder. It was my first ever credit card. They said my account isn't eligible.

How long have you had the rebuider card?? One of the requirements for Venture is excellent credit, which is defined as having a credit card in your name for 3 years or more.

I've had it for 4 years. I currently have: Cap 1- 1k Chase Freedom- 3k Chase Sapphire -5k Amex BCE- 5.5k Macys-?? Kohl's- 1k Best Buy store card- 2.6k

I called customer support again to inquire about a CLI. The gentleman told me to wait 5-7 business days for the account to switch over from rebuilder to Venture One and then call for a CLI. Right now, the CL remains at $4500. Hey, i'm cool with that... *for now* ;-)

Everything is over a year old except the Sapphire (yesterday) and the BB card (Oct.)

The freedom I know I've had for 2-3 years and the cap 1 for four. The others are over a year except those I mentioned.

I figured since I was preapproved, they might let me PC to it but nope and I couldn't stand the thoughts of 3 pulls for 1 card.

It's official! I've been upgraded from the rebuilder card! Funny thing is that I really don't need the card now. I'm just keeping it as a reminder of how far I've come.
