Just in case you are not aware as I was not , their max limit on this card is 12500.
Dh hubby started lower than me and recently got an increase, I thought well it's been close to 6 months, I will try. I received a secured message telling me their card max is 12500 and I couldn't get anymore increases.
Just thought I would pass this along in case others were not aware like myself.
I wonder if this was always the case.....
I could have sworn I remember seeing a post from mahraja with a 22k starting line but I could be mistaken....
congrats to your show though!
I really want to like this card, as I love IKEA, but I cannot get past the 45 day expiration of reward certificates, meaning you cannot save them up for any large purchase and are forced to go to IKEA constantly and redeem for $10 items or whatever. To me it's stupid they set it up that way when most IKEA purchases are going to be larger. If not for that I'd definitely go for this card.

I used the prequalifier soon after the card game out just for the hell of it and was offered quite a bit more than $12.5K which i did not accept. I don't remember off the top of my head seeing a @Mahraja $22K approval but can easily believe it.

Sounds like they've got it all figured out then, if only other CC's learned from their example. lol
I don't have any close, and they always want to add a delivery fee. Which i can understand on some larger items, but if I'm already buying a $300+ item I'm not looking to get hit with an added $130 charge.
Yes their redemption threshold of losing rewards is probably the worse I have seen w/regards to this card.. As far as CL I have seen > 12.5k approvals. Could be they changed(depending when card was obtained) or could be profile dependent.
I was just thinking, "I know my preapproval was higher than that," and when I went looking for my post I realized I was thinking about the IKEA Projekt card and not the IKEA Visa card. As far as I can recall, there was no preapproval page like this for the Visa card. Is it possible that others were mixing the two cards up like I was?
$12,500 does seem like a strange cap for a bank card from Comenity (my only one is the BJ's card which I just discovered caps at $30k), especially for a store where a complete kitchen remodel can easily run you twice that.

never been a pre-qual for visa version.. Ya doubt visa caps at 12.5k especially a comenity one and a place that is cheaper side compared to say RH, Crate and Barrel, etc.. Still can cost > 10k easily for just a few rooms.
Yes I am talking about the VISA not the project card. The visa doesn't have a prequalify.
Well the secured message stated that 12.5K was their max. Not sure but that is what was stated to me ?
Here is the message
