Re: Im in a bit of a crunch...

Student loans are probably a safer option then if you can get one, there are options for forgiveness due to service, disability and better rates and such. Have you looked into a PLUS loan? If you're absolutely sure you can pay it off some CC may have 0% for a year, but it is a big gamble. Good luck and congrats on almost finishing.

Re: Im in a bit of a crunch...

I would never put off my education and degree due to a short time financial issue. You are on the right track figuring it out! Lots of good advice already. After my undergrad, I really struggled to go straight to the grad program or take a break...and then I thought about all the people who leave who never go back and I barrelled through and graduated. About 6 years later I had worked my way up to a 6 figure salary, which I've enjoyed the last 4 years and only going up and up from there - even though I got married and had a baby and changed jobs. I get recruiters contacting me at least 2x a month for more money, but I don't want to make the move. I owe significantly more than you - $60k - so I am ALSO salivating at your student loan balance lol. However, I am also one of the rarer ones that make a decent income and can pay it back. I have a job interview this week for example for $15k more a year. Had I not finished school, I would be stuck in middle management making $40-$50k a year. That degree opened up so many doors for me.
