I actually manged to do this for 2007 - I'm out - need to pay down debt, refi then get new card then a car... I plan to be busy :-) - that is after I pay down my ccs.
05/12: approx 680 across the board
04/08 EQ: 730 TU: 748 EX: 718

Well, I got the car, don't think I need to move, so the only likely hards are if I change cell phone provider in the fall and if I want any CLIs.
 
But no new accounts in 2008, except for the forst report from AMEX and the car loan.
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

I 'm with you through Oct 15 at least - I am closing 2 cards unless I get CLIs before the AF hits and do need to replace the cards.
 
Keeping track of mine now is a pain - so I am PIF from christmas usage and letting them go dormant except for 3.  Bring it out once a quarter and PIF the next week for the others.

As of right now all done with applying for anything for 2008. Applyed yesterday for sears card
approved for 1400.00 thats it for me. Got all the cards now that refused me two years ago.
Credit rebuilding takes time. Now it's time to sit back and let everything age.

I got 3 new cards in 2007, and the first one has its first birthday on January 10th  Smiley Happy
