On my most recent post I was comparing the Active cash and Fidelity cards. I never applied for either. I received a mail offer today for the Altitude go. This time I'm comparing the Active cash and Altitude go. In my current lineup I have the chase freedom unlimited and capital one SavorOne. So either card is a small upgrade to one of those. Which would you go for? Or is neither really worth it with the two cards I already have.

I'd consider a chase freedom flex to expand out your chase relationship and get 5% back in rotating categories and possibly get the chase sapphire preferred sometime in the future when you're more experienced with credit cards
if you want to move away from chase and get a 2% back card, Active Cash is good, Fidelity 2% is good, Citi Double Cash is good, PayPalMC could be good if your lower credit score/more limited credit history
without knowing anything else about your profile, my next card would be a chase freedom flex for those 5% categories and I'd use the chase freedom unlimited for anything not earning 3% on the savor one
altitutde go is a marginally better version of your savor one, you don't really need it, if I was going US bank, I'd get a cash+ for the 5% categories
In order to help answer what will be the better setup for you, I think we would need to know your estimated spend in respective categories of the different cards, in order to calculate what's the most advantageous setup for you.
For example, I may say that I would see more value in getting the Altitude Go if I were heavy on monthly spend for take out, food delivery, and restaurants. The extra 4% would be higher than the 3% you'd get out of the Savor One. The 2% cash back of the Active Cash would not entice me at all if I didn't have much spend that didn't fall into one of the other rewards categories.
Or, in another scenario, the Altitude Go could be completely worthless to me if I never eat out or order in. The main rewards category, although a high rate of 4%, would be returning me 4% of nothing. And on the odd chance that I did decide to spend in dining a couple of times, both the Savor One and the FU already can provide me with a 3% reward.
If you notice that you have a lot of spend that ends up going to your 1x and 1.5x rewards categories, than the 2% Active Cash becomes a while lot more attractive.
The smartest way to approach this would be to first analyze what your actual monthly spend categories are and how much, exactly, you spend in them. From there, you can plug and play the numbers with the rewards categories of the different cards to see which would be ideal for you.
@GZG Sorry for more context. Here's all the cards I have. Cap1 Qs, Cap1 Walmart, Cap1 SavorOne, Chase FU, Chase Freedom, Citi custom cash, discover it, US bank cash + and Amex BCE. I guess I was just itching for a new card when it's not necessary at all 🤦♂️

you still could get a 2% card, so any of those 2% cards I listed are perfectly valid for you
perhaps an Amazon card or a store card if there any that would benefit you
