Sorry if this has been brought up before (I did a search and couldnt find anything). Last month, I did a balance transfer from AmEx to my NFCU Flagship Visa. NFCU does not have a BT fee, so I figured what the heck, I only wanted to push my payment due one month. Today I logged in and found out that I earned points for that balance transfer. Has anyone else noticed this? I dont usually do balance transfers as they cost money (except for NFCU which doesnt charge BT fees) and I really dont need to do it, but I had property and income taxes to pay, so I figured what the heck use it to push my payment one month. My interest on my NFCU flagship is 14.24% so one month wouldnt hurt me.
