Is Kay jewelers bk friendly ??

I had an kays card in 99 and paid it off and it went inactive. I later filed bk13 years afterwards. I dont recall how good my credit may have been to even get it, but now I would like to reopen it. My wife would love a new ring for our 25th anniversary. my scores are tu-736,eq-695,ex-721(2-9-09).I have 2yrs left with the (bk discharged) bk showing,no other baddies since bk in '04.Do anyone think I will have a chance with them??

Might take a peek at the BK-Friendly Cards list.  If they are, they should be on there.

with 700's score they will probably give you some 8k credit line!

they are super BK friendly, if it's discharged, they are good to go! 

my friend with a 550 just got a cli 2 weeks ago, and they pulled hard pull, so they had updated reports!!!

I can second CreditAddict on this one. I have a BK in 04. Applied with a 600 Fico (can't remember who they pulled though) and was approved for 2k. Currently my highest CL all time.

Yes.  I applied 3 months after my BK discharge and got $2k limit with both Kay's and Jared.  They pulled EQ and my score was about 590.
