Is Walmart MC Upgrade a worth It ?

I opened Walmart up Juky 2014 SL $1,300

March 2015 CL $10,000

What triggers the upgrade offer ?

If you have a offer , where would it be located ?

i was wondering how all of this works. So they close out your store card and open new TL RIGHT ?

So i loose $10k , wonder what I would gain ? Or lose ? ( limit on MC wise )

do MC lose the 0%'offers because of the upgrade ?

If if anyone knows any info you have would be great. I don't have a offer but just in case I run into it.

If you have a offer , where would it be located ? It would become available as a pop-up when you sign online or you would receive a snail-mail offer (depending on the affinity product)

So i loose $10k , wonder what I would gain ? Or lose ? ( limit on MC wise ) This would depend on what you would qualify as far as the initital CL with the new tradeline. More often than not, if you lose the old CL and start anew, it can grow over time

do MC lose the 0%'offers because of the upgrade ? The Walmart MC still provides the promotional financing offers

If I was offered either or with the same CL I'd take the bank card over the store card. As it turns out I have the store card ($4500 CL) and opened a discover (converted to MC) early last summer which they gave me a $1200 CL after 4 months $2200, then it stopped as far as CLI's. I just closed the Walmart MC, but I do have a Sam's Club MC - fairly new - with a $5500 CL so the Walmart MC became un-needed.

If Walmart wanted to convert my store card to a MC at the same or greater CL, I'd take it today, but not at a toy limit.

Oh wow, I may consider of ingest them free. Trying to down size on store cards. Just hope I'd keep same limit or better

If you are offered the upgrade, they will not match your $10K store CL (perhaps only if you try Credit Solutions to see about a CLI - perhaps). More than likely, they may start you midpoint (again depending on your overall profile and the last income information you provided or updated). In the event you start midpoint, and if your profile supports it over time, then it's very possible that you can recoup the same CL you had with your store card (if not exceed it). You would have to weigh the pros and cons if you are ever offered the dual card upgrade.
