Ehhhh...honestly I don't know if there is measurable (FICO or AAOA or........) data to support if it is bad or not. I do think eventually Chase will catch on. Will or can it lead to AA??? Don't know that either. BUT, if it does..would it be worth it?

Can it lead to stopping combining lines or rolling over CL for everyone? YEP

 

Imo, your intentions are what is blurring the lines here. Continuing to open this line of credit to specifically increase another line, to beat the system, is not something I would suggest to do on a continuous bases.

AA is adverse action, which could be anything from credit line decreases all the way to a bank choosing to no longer continue a relationship with you (closing all of your accounts).

It doesn't happen a lot, but it can happen and it can be devastating.
