A lot of people, including myself, aren't getting scores from Amex right now.

Amex is taking forever with the rollout! For some of us anyway Smiley Happy Cant say if its worth it for you DigitalArk. It is for me but mainly bc it saves me from purchasing reports here and I know Chase has no problem combining limits if I decide to close it later.

Well that's weird. I've been getting it from Amex for quite some time now. And my roommate who just got a Delta and green Amex already has it on her account as well. That sucks guys. Smiley Frustrated

Re: Is it worth to...

Might as well get 2 chase cards if you have none currently. Take the BT offer and after 12 months transfer slate limit to the other card, keeping slate only for score purposes.

Yeah, thanks for rubbing it in dude! Anyway, I'm tempted to apply for the Slate to have free access to my score as well since I pre-qualified, but I know it's absolutely not worth it. It's not a super great card, and I have some cards that are providing the same promotional terms anyway. I may apply later to take advantage of the promotion and then move my limit after 15 months, but that won't be until next January or so since I'm not willing to push my target cards back for the Slate. Hope I'll still be pre-qualified then!

Re: Is it worth to...

I certainly wouldn't just for a score. I am one of the few that have the Fico score from Amex, but didn't get the card because of the possiblilty of getting the free score. I personally still use the 3b monthly from here and have EX membership too. Sign up for a $1, go to cancel after 7 day trial and they drop the cost of the monthly service in half. I can check it daily and it gives me a fresh report each time I log in. And on top of that, it's EX 08. I have never cared much for the free score stuff with my cards, they seem very primitive in the info given, and the one from AMEX is the worst of the bunch. To each his own, but I wouldn't..
