Is my well running dry?

I all

In the last month, I have apped for 4 new cards - 100% instant approval, with CL's of between $4-5K on each.

I was perfectly happy with that, I don't ever see myself wanting another card, except maybe an AMEX charge card in 12 months time.

BUT today i got a pre-approval for a BOA cash rewards card, 15 months 0% then 14.99% (which is the best rate i have so far)

I received my US Bank Platinum Perks yesterday - My highest CL @ $5k - but NO 0% at all

So being disillusioned with the US Bank card - I took the bull by the horns and apped for the BOA card - I was instantly approved - but only $1,100 limit ;(

I am "sock-drawing" 3 of my cards - Cap 1, Discover and WF - Is it worth asking for a re-con? or just be happy that it's another CL that wasn't declined?

I will now definitely not be apping for anything else until AMEX gold in Oct 14

Congarts

sure no more app I've heard that before LOL

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

When calling to activate, I would just mention to them that you were looking for a similar credit line as the others you have, and that you'd really prefer to use this card due to the great promotional rate that we offered.

Good luck and please update us!

Re: Is my well running dry?

LOL.

By the way OP, don't be discouraged with the US Bank CC.  It is a great starting CL and you may periodically receive 0% BT offers once you've had the account for some time.  Also, there is the option (once you've had it for at least 4-6 months) to see if you qualify or PC to the Cash+ Visa Signature.  You already have the CL for it, why not use it to your advantage!  And, I wouldn't close your BofA - they are a great CC to have.  Give it about 12 months to see if you qualify for a CLI - if your CR profile is decent by that point and your scores improve, I'm sure they can be very generous.   Just some food for thought Robot Very Happy
