Re: Is there any action I can take to fix this?!

I only do phone calls and emails. As my siggy says... Sure you will get someone that reads off the screen, hang up until you get someone that will not. I do not have the patience to wait for the mail at all, besides its cheaper. I am all about saving money, especially since calling has worked for me 95% of the time. When/if you do call make sure they do send you proof of what they told you.

In your case, if you feel like you are not calm enough to talk to someone mail CMRRR or email.

This is a classic example of always blaming th CCC when in fact you screwed yourself for thirty dollars.
I don't like Chase , but it is your responsibility to take care of your affairs, just as Hauling said she learned from her experience, I hope you learn from yours. It's up to you to keep it straight.

Re: Is there any action I can take to fix this?!

That's a little harsh. I am not complaining about the $30 or even the $106 that it became. I am saying that missing a $30 balance because I never saw the statements makes me 0% more likely to default on a real loan. The score does nothing to take this into account, as far as anyone who looks at it is concerned I could have blown off a payment because I like to burn a hole in my pocket and over extended myself. Chase can keep the late fees and interest. It was my mistake regardless of whatever happened to the statements to get the stupid card in the first place, all I am saying the way that credit scores are calculated is very ridged, and card companies should try to treat this sort of thing on a case by case manner, particularly if they dangle discounts and things if you "apply now".
