Here is where I stand with Credit Card Debt... I owe 14,999.99 on my cash rewards with NFCU, and i owe 14,650.27 on my navcheck. Any suggestions... Should I try to consolidate it with NFCU into a personal loan, until I pay them off.
Thank you for all the tips, and thank you to all those who stood by me when I was asking for Pay down advice... So far my credit is clean, I was never late on anything, and have managed to pay down about 35,000 in credit card debt. with another 30,000 to go.
Incredible accomplishment.. Get the other 30k paid off and be debt free! Awesome job so far!
thank you, I have been woorking hard. putting every last cent I made towards my CC's
a solid year, and I do not need that many credit cards... "lesson learned". I may try to consolidate some CC's like all of the CHASE accounts into 1 Chase account
OP's profile proves what I've mentioned time and time again about NFCU and their lax underwriting...
Look at those limits compared to everything else. Just amazing how they toss limits out like candy.
BTW, grats on the paydown OP.
Not to derail this post, everyone wants in with NFCU as they know their underwritting is very easy and the credit lines are insane, but unfortunately most of us are not eligable. This has been beaten to death already. I am jealous of people that are in with NFCU, but be happy for them and move on and even they admit the UW and limits are a joke..
Once again great progress OP!
WOW! Congratulations! How much of a credit boost have you seen from this endeavor?
