Go for it! A $30K starting line is waiting for you.

CAPTOOL is like the big brother saying, "Go for it, it's not that far... you can make it! Just JUMP already!!"
I do feel your pain, though. My Capital One offers are also at 17.9%... if I could ever get one of the really 'sweet' APRs I think I would have to pull the trigger as well. Until then we have the prequal tool to keep us in check. I'm thinking that in six more months or so the offers should be getting better!
We can do it!
You can resist!!! YOU CAN DO IT!
(I'm the same way -- I want QS right now)
I just got my QS and Venture cards last month and checked the prequals and they are there again. Not sure it's worth the HPs.

Same here but I heard on these forums that there is supposed to be a new cap1 card coming out this fall so I'm waiting to see what it is and if it's something I'm interested in I'll app for that and another venture.
Yeah, I think it was jfriend33 that got some extra info from a Capital One CSR during a call. (I might be wrong; memory is fuzzy...)
It would be fantastic if the CSR's info turned out to be true! Even better if they allow us to PC an existing card to get it... whatever it might be!
(Speculation is fun... )
I never get any prequal from Capital One. It would be awesome if they come out with something new though. Hope that happens.
That'd be sweet if that's the case. I don't know if I need another Cap 1 card though.
