Its almost that time......credit steps

My 6th Capital One statement will cut on 9/14....10 more days.....then I will graduate from credit steps! Hallelujah!!! I can't believe its been almost 6 months. When I opened the accounts in March, September seemed so far away. One of my cards is almost maxed out and I will pay it off tomorrow, just in time for my CLI. How long after the 6th statement will they increase me? They said after the 6th statement and before October so that's about a 2 week time frame. I'm just too excited and impatient. LOL!!

Should be just before or just after statement cut.

I am in the same situation!! Anxious to get this 6th statement and see what happens. I did get an increase after my 3rd statement but I was told it wouldn't affect steps

When does your statement cut? I also got an 500$ increase at month 3 or 4, can't remember exactly and everyone said it wouldn't affect my credit steps increase.

I too will recieve my credit steps hopefully tomorrow. My 6th statement cuts tomorrow. I started out with a Journey card with a $2000 SL. I got it PC'd to a Quicksilver after the second statement cut and also asked for an increase of which I was granted via luv button from $2000 to $4,000. I expect another $500 increase tomorrow. Cant wait.

I haven't been able to PC my Journey, but I'm thinking of rolling it into my Venture. I don't need that many cards.

When I got my credit steps increase it happened at midnight after the statement was cut. So on the 19th it cut logged in at midnight on the 20th BOOM!!!! BIG increase was shocked and excited all at the same time.

What rockbttm442 said!! I got two increases. One at 4 months, I believe, and the other the day my 6th statement cut.

Ok, so that brings me to another question. My 2 accounts were opened on the same day but have different statement dates. The platinum cuts on the 14th and the QS1 on the 17th. So will the CLI happen at different times or the same since they were opened at the same time?
