tried for a CLI at 6 month mark, they refuse to increase my toy limit of $150! No problem, SD you will go!! Done wasting my time.
I understand my INQ's and new accts are high but all of my accts are paid on time and never late! Thats fine, I'll wait 6 months, you won't see a dime until then, and then we'll review your status in my wallet for usage.
Thank you. ![]()
Ugh, ditch the JCP credit card. :-P

Two can play at this game. If you expect me to spend on your card, you have to give me some credit to spend! When they see my other accounts getting used often and their's none at all they'll either give me a CLI or close it. I'm cool with either one.
jcp is going to b gone like sears and kmart
I wouldn't ditch it just yet. I had a toy limit starting out too of $300. I used it once, paid it off, and requested a CLI after the 4th statement cut. I was then increased to $800. At the time of the CLI, I had 23 inquiries, 7 new accounts, and several high balances on my other cards. I think usage is the key because the other factors played no role in my own success with CLIs. Try again soon but make sure you give them some usage and you will see the CLIs build every 4th statement.
That stinks. I remember I got an American Eagle Outfitters credit card maybe 3 or 4 years ago. I always had great credit, never baddies or anything. I got a measly $100 CL and I made $75k at the time! Ugh. I'm like "Is this for real?" I kept it for a year and I tried several times for CLI (twice actually) and no dice. Finally I closed it out ![]()
I've spent $150 on this card. It's not cool to me almost maxing the card out on one purchase!!
JCP is in deep freeze status in my freezer and will be thawed once they show luv...........Until then, grab a coat...your gonna need it!! ![]()

SD right away and cancel as soon as you get real cards. Mark my words -- in two years you won't even remember you had it...
